Saturday and Sunday it’s days two and three of the Flaming Lips curated “All Tomorrow’s Parties Festival” in Monticello, New York.

Saturday Sufjan Stephens is performing all of his “Seven Swans” album. Animal Collective, Deerhunter, and The Melvins round out the night. Sunday The Flaming Lips headline one stage, while No Age will be joined by Bob Mould and play nothing but songs by Mould’s seminal Minneapolis band Husker Du.

Roberto Lange may have been born in Miami, but his sound harkens to even more exotic locales.

As Helado Negro his tour pulls into The Bottletree in Birmingham tonight.

Lo-fi Psych band The Whale and Tundra sound as though they’re playing at the other side of a Florida swamp.

Watch for gators and track down the band tonight at The Underground in Tallahassee.

One writer called Dry River Yacht Club the best band using random instruments.

Indeed. Coat and tie not required tonight in Flagstaff, Arizona at Hotel Monte Vista.

If you’re name is Bart Budwig, what the hell ya gonna do.

Bart decided his roots rock band would be heretofore known as The Budwiggers. Tonight the band is home in Moscow, Idaho at One World Cafe.
