It’s too bad Austin, Texas outsider Spot couldn’t keep one of his short lived bands going. Delorean Mechanics is an awesome name.

The cryptic style hopper refers to his forays into different styles of music as tripping through the muck and trudging through the bog. See Spot play at The Frequency in Madison tonight.

Cleveland’s Fascist Insect hate you, and want to blow up your car.

Don’t take it personal, face your accusers in Cleveland tonight at Now That’s Class!

Nine years on, Cornmeal know exactly what they’re doing.

The secret to a barn burning hootenanny Cornmeal style isn’t really a secret at all. They can flat out play. Behind their latest “Feet First” Cornell barrel into The Evening Muse in Charlotte tonight only.

When you look at photographs of Arkansas band Whale Fire , you’ll note that in many three guys are singing.

That’s the first thing you’ll notice about this young band, some pretty sweet harmonies. Gather round at The White Water in Little Rock Tuesday night.

goodmorning valentine front man Joey Beltram toured the west coast on a motorcycle over the summer.

The whole band has reassembled now and they’re out west together. The Akron band has found a nice balance between indie rock cool, Brit pop atmosphere and Northern Soul. Tonight they visit the desert and Trunkspace in Phoenix.

And we’re very excited to see what Dead Meadow have been up to.

The D.C. heavies have been shooting a Live documentary. Along with a companion live album, it’ll come out next year under the title “Three Kings.” Pump your fist tonight at Kilby Court in Salt Lake City.
