Mumpsy's "Posturing"

Orlando, Florida band Mumpsy deserve kudos for the cover of their latest album “Posturing.”

And their 60’s garage pop is just the thing too. The “Posturing Tour” reaches The North Star Bar in Philadelphia Monday.

What you need to know about Goes Cube is the stuff they could care less about.

Goes Cube don’t care about fashion, haircuts, or gear. Goes Cube care that they’re heavy… and they are. Their final show of the summer is toinight at Lit Lounge in New York.

So how did hardcore band Paper Street Soap Company get their name? Glad you asked.

Several years ago a couple of band members were watching “Fight Club.” They paused on a business card that read “Paper Street Soap Company” and decided that would be their name. And now you know. Tonight they band play a final show with drummer Anthony Nunziata. Send him off at The Social in Orlando.

In Vegas Mark Huff was the go to guy.

The singer songwriter built and local following and got calls to open for everyone from Bob Dylan to Al Green. In 2003 though Huff felt the pull to resettle in Nashville. “I felt I had to raise the bar on myself” Mark said of moving into a city with more songwriters than anywhere else. Tonight Mark Huff sits atop the bill at The Basement in Music City.

Friendly Fires Lollapalooza set was among the most talked about.

Tonight the St. Albans trio finish their U.S. tour at The El Rey in Los Angeles.

Normally people say time flies. Twin Cities hip hop duo Eyedea and Abilities made time practically stop for their rabid fanbase.

Five years they made you wait between albums until finally dropping the acclaimed “By The Throat in July. Their headline jaunt behind it reaches Nectar Lounge in Seattle Monday.
